Listen to Steps of St. John and try not to singalong. Trial by Fire is a very fun punk band out of DC that, to my chagrin, is constantly looked over and forgotten. Best Clash Cover I've heard....

I normally hate recorded cover songs. I don't know what it is about them, but they never capture any of the fun that is included when seeing them live; however, I'm making an exception here. Philly's The Menzinger's did an amazing cover of "Straight to Hell" and deserves some recognition. I heard them do this song live when I saw them in DC and was blown away from the originality they put in it and was curious when I saw that it was included on their CD. I expected it to be lacking in some department; however, it is very solid and very well done. Kudos.
